Welcome to our firm

The Piatchek Law Firm would like to welcome our new Associate Attorney Kara L. Breshears. This brings our total staff members to six. We are growing fast thanks to all of our wonderful clients who support us!

Kara is a native of Southwest Missouri, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from Missouri State University. Kara recently earned her Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri-Kansas City, and passed the Missouri Bar Exam. While attending law school, Kara was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, where she was treasurer. Also, Kara was a team member of the Appellate Advocacy Team, and the Student Division of the American Bar Association. Kara also gained valuable experience in the business law arena as a clerk at the Entrepreneurial Law and Practice Clinic in Kansas City, MO which assists individuals with setting up small businesses. She also has experience in health care law through her internships with Cox Hospital in Springfield, and St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Kara also has clerked at two law firms both during and before law school.

Kara currently is a licensed member of the Missouri Bar Association, and will be heading up the Affordable Legal Services Division of Piatchek Law Firm, dealing in such matters as Uncontested Divorce, Traffic Law, as well as other areas. Our Affordable Legal Services Division provides high quality legal services at reasonable flat rates.

Meet Meredith

We would like to introduce our office staff to the blogging world. 

First up, Meredith our Office Manager and Legal Coordinator.  Her main function around the office to is to keep things running smooth, lines of communication open, and everyone on track.

Meredith is a native of Southeast Missouri, originally from Poplar Bluff.  She moved to Springfield to attend Missouri State University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Marketing.  She is currently pursuing a Masters of Business of Administration (MBA) degree. 

When Meredith is not working or studying, she likes to spend time with family, friends, and her terrier mix named Maggie.
